Sources and confidence

Every entry names its source and carries one of three confidence levels:

• Verified — we imported or harvest its data, or it is our own work: verified by use, not by hearsay.
• Reported — recorded in our documents at a stated location (downloaded, unpacked or studied), but its data is not yet in use.
• Unverified — a known official site whose link was checked automatically, with details not yet reviewed.

Abstracts

Abstracts are extracted, never written by us: whole sentences from the published abstract, or from the opening of the text when there is no abstract, up to 60 words. Abstracts read by OCR from PDF files and not yet reviewed are labelled «نبذةٌ آلية» (automatic abstract) and may contain word errors.

Deduplication

A study listed in several catalogues is shown once (title, researcher and year). Researcher profiles merge name variants (inverted order, titles, hamza spelling) but never merge names shorter than three parts, where confusion is common.

What we link, not publish

We do not republish full texts. Each item links to where it was published; links on a host that stopped responding are marked as such rather than presented as working.

Corrections

Every change to the data is logged publicly with its date and the values before and after: سجلّ التصحيحات (Arabic). Suggestions and corrections are welcome through the أسهِم form; nothing submitted is published before review.

Scope

Quranic material only: a general journal contributes only its articles whose titles are explicitly Quranic. No Quranic text is generated, and no statement is attributed without a source.
